Spay/neuter efforts dramatically reduce the number of animals that need homes.

Webthe humane society of broward county and broward county animal care & adoption are introducing “mission catpossible 2. ” the collaborative spay/neuter project for feral and free roaming neighborhood felines residing in broward county has a goal to sterilize 1,000 cats this september.

Spaying or neutering your pet early helps reduce pet overpopulation and provides a number of health benefits.

To be eligible for spay/neuter surgery, kittens must be at least 2 pounds or 8 weeks of age.

As such, we wanted to take the time to discuss this very important animal welfare issue.

As a service to our adopters, we provide free neutering services with every adoption.

Kitsap Humane Society | February is Spay/Neuter Awareness Month

Webfebruary is spay/neuter awareness month, and it’s that time of year where our unaltered furry friends start going into heat.

Dogs must be between 10 weeks and 7 years of age.

The program is only available to broward county residents.
